Dr. Eric B Vogel had his first game published in 2004, and has designed several games and expansions since then, including Kitara and Romans Go Home. The Dresden Files Cooperative Card game won the 2018 Silver ENnie for Best RPG Related Product.

In addition to games for the hobby market, he also designs psychotherapeutic games for children. He first became a client of Forgenext in 2016. When he is not designing or playing games, he works as a professor of psychology for The John F Kennedy School of Psychology at National University, in the San Francisco Bay Area, and conducts qualitative psychology research there.
